Grimethorpe departed Sydney via an early morning photoshoot in front of the incredible backdrop of Sydney Opera House & Harbour Bridge.
From there it was on to the Australian capital of Canberra. The nation's eighth largest city, Canberra was declared the capital in 1908 as a compromise between the country's two largest cities of Sydney and Melbourne.
Canberra can be a tough nut to crack in terms of audience, as others have found, but not so for Grimethorpe, as a crowd of 900 filled the impressive Llewellyn Hall at the Australian National University to see the Brassed Off stars.
It was another showcase display by the band, and again the audience were on their feet as a delighted Grimethorpe departed the stage with the audience yelling for more, despite the dual encore already received.
From Llewellyn Hall it was on to a brief stop at the in-house microbrewery before bed, and an early start for the band the following day for the six hour journey from Canberra to their next engagement in Newcastle, New South Wales.
In Canberra, Grimethorpe caught up once again with Besson's Stephen Moschner and found time to make two short video commentaries with Steve and Grimethorpe's own Shaun Crowther
